with average per hectare fish production of 3050 kg./year by the
terminal year.

Entrepreneurship
development among educated unemployed youths by organizing Self
Help Groups (SHGs) and encouraging women to participate actively in
fishery development.

To develop one Model Aqua
Panchayat in each block of the State.

Reclamation of seasonal and silted existing water bodies to retain water upto
the desired level for fish culture.
5.
Revitalization of existing
Fishermen Co-operative Societies/ Self Help Groups for higher fish
production.
6.
Improvement in the post harvest technology for
value addition and creation of transportation, preservation and
marketing infrastructure.
